alright hey guys so today I’m gonna give
you a quick review on this guy if you
can see this thing here what this is is
the conker indoor stationary bike
trainer in short it’s a magnetic bike
trainer essentially turns your let me
show you here your bicycle there’s my
actual bike obviously that I would ride
outside go mountain biking with and
stuff like that right on the street and
it actually turns your same bicycle into
a stationary bicycle so I’m gonna do a
couple things
I’m gonna share with you you know the
cost kind of my thoughts after using
this for quite some time
yeah he’s worth it is it not worth it
and then how it has benefited me I’ll
also give you a sound test also because
that could come into play obviously you
know Here I am in my own home don’t have
all kinds of noise concerns and things
like that but you could see that it
might be a question you want to answer
if you live in like an apartment or
something like that you know or you live
with people that you know noise
disruptions might cause a disruption so
let’s take a closer look at this thing
number one thing I want to talk about
guys before we even start digging into
this thing is the price you know what
does this thing cost right now it’s
about 65 bucks or so on Amazon geez
that’s kind of expensive maybe it’s not
expensive at all depends on you know
your financial situation I would tell
you that I’ll give you an idea of some
of the benefits to this thing in a
second and why I think it’s worth it but
just think about it right you go look
and buy an actual stationary bike and
you want you know a stationary bike in
your living room it’s gonna cost you a
couple hundred bucks if you already have
a bicycle you know 60 70 bucks you’re
into it and in a couple of seconds
basically you can you know remove this
trainer from your bike and then hit the
road or the trail on your actual bicycle
and then on a rainy day or something
like that you can hook this back up in
no time
and you’re up and running so again about
65 bucks or so you might have heard me
say magnetic bike trainer
essentially your back wheel rests on
this little thing here this it’s
essentially like a magnetic resistance
type setup okay and you can adjust this
so just like any other exercise bike you
know you can twist this counterclockwise
for less resistance or clockwise for
more resistance and what it does is it
pushes this thing and pivots this thing
more resistant to push as hard around
the tire less resistance it pushes less
on the tire but that’s what they mean by
magnetic resistance you might see
something with like a big fan and stuff
like that this this has this little
magnetic setup the other thing I wanted
to share with you right this thing comes
in a box and you pop the thing out of
the box as you can see I’m not gonna
really a guess do it right now because I
have one hand but this arm actually
swings in so this thing becomes about
half the size of what you’re looking at
right here so you can actually probably
travel with a thing really easy I never
have but you could probably do that the
other thing I would share with you is
you know how do you get this thing on
and off your bike so like I said in a
couple seconds you can convert it from a
bike to a stationary bike and a
stationary bike back to your real
bicycle basically there’s a there’s a
rod that goes through your rear tire
okay when you buy this bicycle trainer
they send you a new rod of unboxing the
name obviously but you would remove your
existing rod and insert there rod and
what that rod does is on both sides here
I feel let me see if I can kind of back
one off to show you what I’m talking
about I see if I can I’m just unscrewing
this as you guys can see and yep there
we go so this this rod has kind of I
guess you could say bulbous type fitting
over here and it kind of slides into
this piece here which is what grips the
back tire if that makes any sense at all
and and so within a couple seconds you
can actually swap that thing out and you
leave it in there permanently I ride my
bike on the street with the one they
sent me in the back wheel and then when
I come
and it’s a rainy day or I want to set it
up as an exercise bike takes me a couple
seconds as you can see I unscrew this
kind of back this thing out I back the
other one out my bike pops out and I
ride out the door it’s that easy
so things pretty good so let’s take a
look at a sound test and I want to give
you a little tidbit of why I think this
thing is great
see that’s how that thing folds up you
know obviously if with your bike
detached right hey guys so there was a
little sound test you can hear it’s kind
of like uh almost like a like a whiny
type noise or something I don’t know um
doesn’t bother me
doesn’t bother my family it works out
just well just fine and like I said you
know if you have a different living
setup maybe that is a problem
don’t know I can’t tell you that
depending on the resistance setting you
have on the back wheel you know that’s
obviously gonna vary how loud or maybe
how quiet is so just keep that in mind
of the price point 65 bucks or so get
you this trainer turns your bike into a
stationary bike to me you can’t beat
that so here’s really the take away from
this whole thing why I think this thing
is so great is not only the price and
the ease of use and and everything I
just conveyed to you it’s the fact that
and I might make a separate video on
this but not all that long ago I’ve been
an athlete you know my entire life some
challenges kind of came up and I ended
up putting on 65 and maybe you could
argue about 70 pounds beyond where I
probably should have been again probably
can can talk about that in a different
video the reason I love this thing is
that when I when you hear about the
challenges that I went through to try
and get in shape and I’m kind of in a
little bit of limbo right now but to
lose about 65 70 pounds you know when
you weigh 260 pounds it’s a challenge to
go for a jog or do things you know the
impact and every it really is tough and
so what you do is you don’t work out and
you just perpetuate the problem because
it hurts too much to work out so this
thing I think really I would have you
kind of saved my life 65 bucks I’m too
fat to go out for a run it hurts too
much
I went from running miles and miles as a
kid a teenager young adult to I couldn’t
even run a quarter of a mile you know
I’m dying what I could do is set this
thing up in front of my TV and I could
pedal I could absolutely pedal with no
impact no injuries no nothing for five
minutes for 10 minutes and then in that
10 minutes became a half an hour and a
half an hour became an hour that type of
thing and once I started losing the
weight and it came off pretty quickly I
could go out for that jog and things
like that or maybe even you know take my
bike off this thing and go for a bike
ride but I’m telling you if you were
overweight and you struggling to get
back in shape and it hurts to run and it
hurts to do these different things
something like this could really save
your life it could really change your
life so again I give this thing two
thumbs up if I wasn’t holding the camera

I wasn’t sure if this would work, but I took a risk and am glad I did. I already had a decent bike and didn’t want to buy another just for indoors. This thing is designed to last. It’s simple to connect and disconnect your bike. My bike rides perfectly on it. It also has a dial to adjust the stress, which works well, and you can make it harder by using the gears on your bike.
One thing to keep in mind is that it does make noise. With my headphones on, I can’t really hear it, but it may be too noisy for other people in the building. That, I believe, is appropriate for this form of unit. True indoor bikes are relatively quiet, but this one makes some noise.
Overall, I’d suggest this if you’re looking for an indoor ride and already have a decent bike. Also, I’d like to emphasize how powerful this thing is. It works well for me, who is 6 feet tall and weighs around 230 pounds.
My first concern was that the wheels wouldn’t match because everyone kept mentioning the rod that comes in the box with fast release bikes. Fortunately, I didn’t want one. When it was set too high, the bike dropped forward and off the stand; when it was set too low, the rear tire didn’t fit well against the stand, making it appear shaky; a small bungee cord was used to stabilize it better. There is a brace to attach the front tire to the bike frame; this is absolutely important because if the tire is not properly fixed, the bike will lean, making the bike nook appear flimsy. I believe it will work, but it can be improved; it should be made of a thicker metal and should have two straps rather than one.
