Precor Recumbent Bike Instruction Video
hey everyone I’m Paxton Dandrea and I’m
a fitness specialist here at the CCM
wellness center today I’m gonna be
showing you guys one of our recumbent
bikes this is one of our many pieces of
cardio equipment we have here at the
Wellness Center we also have ellipticals
new steps step mills and treadmills so
what’s nice about this piece of
equipment is it’s not a step over it’s a
step through so you don’t have to raise
your leg to get into the ik piece of
equipment so once you are sitting down
here you want to put your feet in the
pedals you do have your seat adjustment
here on the front but you do want to be
careful because it is on an incline so
if you pull that lever and you will
slide forward if you’re not careful so
to adjust it you want to have your lead
leg straight you want a slight bend in
the knee that is where you want your
seat to be and then you want to start
peddling this piece of equipment is not
powered by anything except for you so
you have to start pedaling in order to
access the screen once you do start
pedaling you can push Quick Start and
then select whatever workout you want to
do I will just click the variety one
here and you can see the change of
intensity as you’re going through your
workout you can also increase that or
decrease that by using this lever right
here up increases down decreases now the
other nice thing about all of our most
of our cardio equipment is most of it is
pre core so all of it has the same
operating system here so if you learn
one you can learn them all
Precor Recumbent Bicycles
With a new wave of modern fitness equipment hitting the fitness market today, you can’t go wrong with one of the hottest items in this segment – the Precor recumbent bike. The latest model features user friendly ergonomic design and simplicity in programming. You can get a maximum of thirty minutes or more of upright cycling or running time in a single session. The recumbent bicycle offers a smoother ride than other traditional exercise bikes and ellipticals, because it doesn’t have the bounce or tumble effect that other bikes might have. This smooth ride results in less jarring impact on your body, making it safe and effective for use at home or the office.
Unlike most other exercise bikes, the Precor recumbent bikes offer low-impact activities with smooth efficiency. Your sitting position is supported by the seat and leg rest. However, the Precor recline bike, with its newly designed air wave sit-bones, assures that your lower body weight isn’t leaning too heavily on your sit bones while you perform these low-impact activities. In fact, it even offers an even, balanced weight distribution across your chest, arms, hips and thighs for more efficient cardiovascular workouts. You can adjust the resistance levels to mimic any of the sport’s intensities for an even closer workout experience.
One of the many benefits of the new model of the Precor Recumbent Bike is its low step-over height and high shock absorption. When compared to other bikes on the market, the Recumbent offers great low-impact workouts for beginners and experts alike. It has a step-through design and air flex compliant spring frame for supreme performance and durability.
It’s hard enough when you’re working out alone in a small home gym. But when you’re hunched over a bulky, heavy machine, you can be injured by repetitive, sudden movements. The recumbent bike eliminates this concern, as it supports your entire body and doesn’t require you to stoop over. With a lightweight frame and easy adjustability, you can work out in your pajamas and feel secure knowing that the unit will provide safe, low impact workouts.
Easy maintenance is critical for your workout equipment. With a recumbent bike’s durable aluminum frame and strong shock absorbing design, you won’t have to worry about any parts wearing out before the next workout. You can also choose between either a single or dual drive system for increased versatility and ease of use. A single drive system offers smooth, quiet operation, while dual drives offer stronger resistance and more durability. With simple adjustment options and no electronic parts, you’ll have little problem maintaining your machine and enjoying it for years to come.
You may prefer a recumbent stationary bike because of its light weight. But if you do most of your workouts in front of a computer monitor, you may be putting excess pressure on your neck, back, arms and shoulders, making a recumbent easier and safer than standard upright machines. Many gym chains offer recumbent bikes for sale, but you may want to look at reviews to find the best model for your home gym. If you’re looking for a comfortable, low impact workout, a recumbent will give you just what you need.
