Philly Pumptrack receives $10,000 donation

At last night’s Parkside Association of Philadelphia community meeting, Philly Pumptrack received a $10,000 check from Monster Energy Drinks and Brown’s ShopRite. “This gets us closer to putting kids and families on bikes,” commented Heidi Grunwald, Project Coordinator.

Builder Jim Dellavalle describes the site to volunteer David Dannenberg and Community Outreach and Development Liaison Harlan Price.

Work has started on the Philly Pumptrack at 52nd Street and Parkside Avenue behind the Mann Center. Pumptracks are designed to be used by all ages and levels of experience, and the project has earned the support of the community and the city.
