At last night’s Parkside Association of Philadelphia community meeting, Philly Pumptrack received a $10,000 check from Monster Energy Drinks and Brown’s ShopRite. “This gets us closer to putting kids and families on bikes,” commented Heidi Grunwald, Project Coordinator.

Megan Rosenbach of the Bicycle Coalition writes about bicycle trains, a wheeled version of a walking school buses, where two or more adults lead a group of students to school, “picking up” more children along the way.
